Charles City County, Virginia
Sgt. Malchi Adkins left school after the seventh grade and began working to help support his family. He worked on farms and in wood pulp plants before being drafted into the Army. He served in the 320th and took many snapshots of his 320th buddies. He found a German passport in France and filled the empty pages with his friends' addresses.
