Le Monde, France’s most prestigious newspaper, today published an article on the campaign to award Waverly Woodson the Medal of Honor. it is the first coverage in the French press, and notable because, as Linda Hervieux said, “It is thanks to France and the French government that we know about Waverly Woodson’s forgotten D-Day battalion.”
